Snoring and Sleep Apnea

  • Do you snore?
  • Do you wake up short of breath?
  • In the morning, do you have a dry mouth or a headache?
  • Do you still feel tired and unrefreshed?
  • Is it hard to stay awake during the day?
  • Do you have trouble concentrating or remembering things?

If you or anybody you know has these symptoms, you may have sleep disordered breathing, also known as sleep apnea. Dr. Foutz has received extensive training on screening for anatomical issues in the head and neck, as well as symptoms that indicate when further inquiries are needed.

Screenings

Even if you are happy with your current dentist, but they are not screening for this potentially life-threatening issue, we are happy to provide you with an expert opinion so you can get the treatment you need and lead the life you deserve—all while continuing to receive outstanding care at your current dental office.

Management

There are several ways to manage sleep apnea, including:

  • Continuous Positive Air Pressure (CPAP)
  • Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD)
  • Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT)
  • Behavioral Therapies (provided by one of the psychologists in our referral network)

So if you’re tired of feeling tired, let us help you get the rest you need to feel energized and refreshed!
